The maestro of stand up, Bill Hicks. I miss him and his caustic wit. I’m not sure how his comedy would be taken nowadays but I’m guessing if people find Jerry Sadowitz untenable it’s a hop skip and a jump to finding Bill Hicks offensive. Shame, he was lightening.

I’m going to post this on the 20th anniversary of when Bill played Birmingham Town Hall, back on the 21st of November, 2002. Dave, Shirley, Karen, and I went. It was an amazing night. Just a few years later and he was no longer with us.
